Tottenham confirm £55m signing of Mohammed Kudus from rivals West Ham as forward becomes Thomas Frank’s first major signing

Tottenham have completed the £55million signing of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham

The Ghana international has penned a long-term contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and becomes the club’s first major signing under new head coach Thomas Frank

The 24-year-old, who Frank identified as his top target this summer, completed his medical at Spurs ahead of the announcement on Thursday night.

Spurs teased the reveal by posting a picture of a stool – often used by the winger during goal celebrations – before showing off their new signing in a snazzy video cut to the a song from Ghanian musician Stonebwoy.
