Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a surprise move for Manchester United striker Anthony Martial this summer.
The Frenchman has been plagued by injury concerns over the last 18 months and he is currently out of action after a groin surgery.
Despite this, he has been among the goals when fit and firing and reports claim that Spurs could be interested in signing him.
Martial has yet to make a decision regarding his future, but his agent is already discussing with interested clubs in England and abroad.
United are quite clear that they don’t want to extend his deal expiring in June and Martial could end up joining a direct rival.
Tottenham have made good progress under manager Ange Postecoglou and they are one of the favourites to finish fourth in the league.
With Champions League football, they could develop their squad further with more quality signings. Martial could be tempted to join too.
The Frenchman may not be guaranteed with regular playing time, but he can be a valuable bench player capable of making a difference.
