Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi, who left Marseille by mutual agreement earlier this week, was also linked with the job in North London.

Moretto, however, now claims on X social media that Tudor is a “strong” candidate to take over at Tottenham following Frank’s sacking.

Moretto reports that talks between Tudor and Tottenham have started.

Tudor was sacked by Juventus at the end of October after less than a year at the club.

Tudor was under contract with Juventus until 2027, but he reached an agreement to terminate the deal in January.

Tudor won 10 of his 24 games in charge of Juventus, drawing eight and losing six.
