Here are the most relevant transfer updates from Serie A on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, including Barcelona rivalling Manchester United for Victor Osimhen and Inter and Napoli reportedly moving forward for new signings.
The March international break often comes with several speculations, given that a new transfer window is just around the corner.
Many teams are already preparing for 2025-26 and Napoli are indeed among them. Not only have the Partenopei already reached an agreement to sign Empoli’s Luca Marianucci, but have also targeted Juventus’ defender Federico Gatti, as per Sky Sport Italia.
Transfer round-up: busy Napoli and Inter as Man Utd face fresh Osimhen competition

Napoli will also see Osimhen return from a loan spell at Galatasaray in the summer. While Arsenal and Manchester United have already been linked with the Nigerian striker, Corriere dello Sport claims that Barcelona are also in the race. However, the La Liga giants hope Napoli will listen to offers below €75m.
Corriere dello Sport also added that Inter will decide the futures of Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij at the end of the season, as both defenders’ contracts expire in 2026. Meanwhile, however, the Nerazzurri have already identified Venezia’s Jay Idzes to strengthen their defensive block next season.
The defending Serie A champions are also planning to bring attacking reinforcements and have already held ‘positive’ talks with Nico Paz and Arda Guler‘s camps. Another attacking target for Inter is Udinese’s Lorenzo Lucca, but the Italy international is also followed by Napoli.
The Nerazzurri may even listen to offers for Yann Bisseck and Davide Frattesi, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Juventus may be forced to sell Kenan Yildiz without Champions League football next season, but they will only do so for at least €75m, according to Calciomercato.com. According to TeamTALK, Man United have already established contact with the Juventus talent.
According to Gazzetta, lack of Champions League football would probably prevent Juventus from signing Francisco Conceiçao and Randal Kolo Muani permanently next season.
According to Tuttosport, Milan could consider Tammy Abraham‘s permanent move only if he cuts his €5m salary. Riccardo Sottil‘s stay also depends on whether Fiorentina sign Yacine Adli permanently.
