FootballTransfers runs through the biggest rumours and gossip from 13 February, including the latest updates on Harry Maguire and Eli Junior Kroupi.
Harry Maguire agrees new contract
Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire has agreed a contract extension with the Old Trafford side.
Maguire, 32, is set to sign a contract extension with the Red Devils have agreed to a substantial pay cut, according to TEAMtalk.
His current deal expires in the summer, but he is now set to prolong his Man Utd stay by signing a contract more favourable to the club.
Arsenal want Eli Junior Kroupi
Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, who is currently being tracked by every top Premier League club ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Sun have reported that Bournemouth have initiated talks over a “bumper new deal” with Kroupi’s representatives, in a bid to ward off any suitors, while they claim that Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are all eager to sign the France U21 international.
In addition, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have now expressed their interest in the former Lorient forward, according to TEAMtalk.
Aleksandar Stankovic battle
Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are all interested in signing Club Brugge midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic – a player who has been tipped by his legendary father for great things.
Stankovic, the son of Inter Milan legend Dejan, was signed by Club Brugge last summer in a €9.5 million deal, but his stay in Belgium is set to be short.
That is because the Premier League’s top clubs are hovering in anticipation of the 20-year-old departing in the summer, according to CaughtOffside.
Liverpool want Yan Diomande
Liverpool have earmarked RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande as a top target for the 2026 summer transfer window amid Cody Gakpo’s struggles so far this season.
Diomande has notched 14 goals and assists in 23 games for Leipzig since his arrival at the club last summer and Liverpool are keen to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United to his signature.
That is according to David Lynch, who told Anfield Index, he said: “Diomande is being watched really closely. That’s not to guarantee they will go for him, but he’s definitely on Liverpool’s radar, but he’s on the radar of a lot of clubs.
“I can guarantee that he’s definitely being watched. The wing position is something Liverpool are eyeing now, I’d be surprised if next summer passes without a winger being added.
Jurgen Klopp outlines Real Madrid transfer demand
Jurgen Klopp has laid down his transfer demands if he is to become Real Madrid’s next head coach, as per El Nacional.
Firstly, he wants to make two “strategic sales” in order to fund signings. The players he has earmarked to leave the club are Rodrygo and Eduardo Camavinga – a pair that has struggled to make an impact this season.
Klopp is then planning to revisit Liverpool for Alexis Mac Allister, while he would also reportedly like Los Blancos to sign Tottenham centre-back Cristian Romero, who has been linked with a summer switch to the Bernabeu in the past.
