Man City are ready to launch a Premier League-record bid for Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham, according to Fichajes.

Man Utd are stepping up their pursuit of Lille wonderkid Ayyoub Bouaddi, TEAMtalk reports.

The 18-year-old has become the Red Devils’ January priority and would be a statement signing by the Old Trafford club, particularly as the youngster is also fielding interest from several European giants.

Bouaddi’s arrival could pave the way for Kobbie Mainoo to get the January loan he so desires.

TEAMtalk also reports that Arsenal have barged into the race to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with Man Utd, who are said to have enquired about him. However, Arsenal are now firmly in the mix as well and can even be considered the favourites for his signature.

Contract talks with Borussia Dortmund have been a slog, with the club unwilling to grant Adeyemi’s superagent Jorge Mendes his wish of including an €80 million release clause in his deal.

Man Utd are one step closer to signing Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba after Cameroon’s failure to qualify for the World Cup, claims influencer Mark Goldbridge.

He argues that the lack of a World Cup distraction will enable Man Utd to receive Baleba’s undivided attention next year. The Red Devils already laid the groundwork for a move and agreed terms with the midfielder this summer.

Goldbridge believes that it could be a similar story to Matheus Cunha, who agreed a deal to join Man Utd well before the summer transfer window even opened this year.
