Salah transfer valuation slashed

Liverpool are set to be left disappointed by the news that Mohamed Salah is unlikely to fetch the type of fee that they might have dreamed of should he leave in the summer.

Salah was once discussed as a €200 million target for the Saudi Pro League, but it appears that this valuation has been significantly revised.

Indeed, the latest reports indicate that the Saudis will only be willing to pay something like the €42m that Liverpool paid Roma for the Egypt international back in 2017.

Carrick confirms Man Utd winger plan

Interim Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has confirmed that the Red Devils are likely to move for a winger during the summer transfer window.

Under Ruben Amorim, wingers were not used, so they have been forced to improvise since the departure of the Portuguese, with Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Patrick Dorgu among those used as wide attackers.

While Carrick says the issue is not a “huge concern at the moment”, the former England midfielder has said that signing new forwards is something that will be looked into.

Victor Osimhen’s enormous price revealed

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen will cost any club interested in signing him €150 million.

Osimhen’s form for the Turkish side has only enhanced his reputation, despite playing away from the spotlight of a Big 5 league.

While there is an ‘anti-Serie A’ clause in the transfer deal Galatasaray signed with Napoli last summer, the Istanbul club are clearly not planning on accepting any offers unless a truly remarkable figure is offered.

Jurgen Klopp to Real Madrid is heating up

Red Bull’s head of global soccer Jurgen Klopp has decided that he wants to return to management as he misses the adrenaline rush of being on the touchline.

Real Madrid is the “only” club that currently entices the German, who will not take a job in the Premier League out of loyalty to Liverpool.

There is a possibility that Klopp might also take the Germany national team job following the World Cup.
