Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag could drop two players after the recent 3-0 Premier League loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have had a dreadful start to the league campaign and they have picked up only three points from the opening three games.
The club recently suffered a heavy defeat to Arne Slot‘s side where Casemiro was guilty of gifting possession for two first-half goals.
Casemiro was substituted at half-time with Toby Collyer taking his place. He is now likely to be dropped to the bench for the Southampton game.
Alongside the Brazilian, Joshua Zirkee could also be axed from the XI after squandering two clear-cut scoring chances in last weekend’s derby.
Bruno Fernandes could start as the false number nine next week. There is a possibility that Christian Eriksen could start as the no.10.
With Mason Mount injured, Eriksen could get the nod for the position despite being a peripheral player over the last 12 months.
