Two names are not expected to feature for Die Werderaner in 2025/26 the tabloid suggests.
As reported by Bild, Werder Bremen have identified two players who are expected to leave the club this summer.
Julian Malatini has failed to impose himself in Horst Steffen’s plans, therefore a departure on loan is expected.
Still, the club from northern Germany hold confidence in him and see great potential in the defender, according to the report.
Similar cannot be said for Dikeni Salifou who is considered a potential offload if a suitable offer is received.
In an ideal scenario, the Green-Whites would likely offload the midfielder completely, although another year-long loan is possible.
The German-born Togolese was loaned to Austria Klagenfurt last season where he bagged 2 goals and an assist in 26 games.
Ultimately, after his return to Bremen, he is seen as surplus to requirements under Steffen, which was evident in training and friendlies.
