Tyler Dibbling: ‘STAGGERING’ price tag as Premier League giants circle for Southampton star

Tyler Dibling has been one of the breakout stars of the Premier League season, with the Southampton youngster attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Although Saints are destined to be relegated after a miserable Premier League campaign, they are seeking to maximise the profit they will recoup by selling Dibling, whose eye-catching performances have won admirers across the country.

Indeed, the St Mary’s outfit want to make him one of the most expensive teenagers in the history of the game, with The Telegraph reporting that they want “more than £100 million” to sell him.

This equates to over €120m, which could make him the most expensive Premier League player in history and also the second-most expensive teenager ever, behind only Kylian Mbappe.

Southampton have set is described as a “hardline” stance for the 19-year-old, with the south coast club thought to have used Jack Grealish’s move from Aston Villa to City for €117.5m as a benchmark for the deal.

Man Utd are thought to be leading the chase for the teenager but Saints’ asking price may have them reconsider their stance.

How much is Tyler Dibling worth?

Dibling has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €30.2m, which is just a fraction of what Southampton are believed to want for the former Chelsea academy player.

His value, however, has leapt incredibly since the start of the season, when it sat at just €1.9m, testimony to the dramatic impact that he has made in recent months.

Dibling is considered to be only the 15th most valuable teenager in the world currently, trailing a host of talented youngsters, including Manchester United pair Leny Yoro (€66.2m) and Kobbie Mainoo (€54.8m).

In the Premier League, Tottenham pair Mathys Tel (€41.2m) , who is on loan from Bayern Munich, and Archie Gray (€37m) plus Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri (€33.5m) all have higher ETV’s than Dibling, underlining how ambitious Southampton’s asking price is.

Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, meanwhile, is the most valuable teenager in the game presently on €174.3m.
