Chelsea graduate Tyrique George has decided to leave the Blues in the quest for regular first-team football next season, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 19-year-old played regularly for the Blues in the Cup competitions last term, but he has now decided to pursue a new challenge elsewhere.
The Blues have already bolstered their left wing with Jamie Gittens and they are soon expected to land Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.
As a result, George has decided to pursue a permanent move to another club as he is unlikely to get sufficient playing time to develop in his career.
RB Leipzig have explored the possibility of landing him in a separate deal for Xavi Simons, who is also due to join Chelsea in the next few days.
The Blues are in advanced negotiations with Leipzig for the Dutch playmaker and it is only a matter of time before he makes the move.
Chelsea will be hoping to secure a buy-back clause on George.
