Union Berlin loanee Král expected to sign permanently for Espanyol

A fee in the low single digit millions would be enough for Union Berlin to sell.

Union Berlin and midfielder Alex Král are expected to part ways in summer, Spanish media Relevo reports.

The Czechia international left Köpenick on loan to Catalan club RCD Espanyol, and has impressed since. 

It is believed the club who sit 15th in the La Liga table are keen to exercise a purchase option worth €3million. 

While salary has not been discussed with the midfielder, an initial offer for his services has been made.

Král, who joined Die Eisernen in 2023, has made 27 appearances for Espanyol this campaign. He would like to remain in Spain if the club can’t negotiate a fee.
