Union Berlin midfielder ruled out for the rest of the season

Aljoscha Kemlein has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.

1. FC Union Berlin have suffered a major injury blow.

The Bundesliga outfit confirmed on Monday that Aljoscha Kemlein will miss the rest of the season.

Following a thorough medical examination, the 20-year-old midfielder was advised to undergo surgery, which took place last Friday.

Kemlein has been sidelined since the beginning of February. Prior to that, he had fought his way into the Union starting line-up.

In total, the Germany Under-21 international has made 17 appearances for the capital club this season.
