Japanese international Keita Endo’s permanent departure from 1. FC Union Berlin has been confirmed.
Bundesliga side confirmed that 26-year-old Keita Endo’s loan deal with FC Tokyo has been turned into a permanent arrangement. The twice-capped Samurai international departs German football having made 20 top flight appearances for Union and 25 appearances across all competitions for 2. Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunschweig. He scored once in the German top division.
No information was divulged by either club with regard to the transfer fee. Union once paid a reported €900,000 to purchase Endo from the Yokohama Marinors in the January 2021 transfer window. Union published a short statement on social media wishing the attacking midfielder all the best in his future endeavors.
