Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has pulled out of the latest episode of his podcast through sickness.

Ferdinand hosts Vibe With Five alongside Joel Beya and Stephen Howson every week, debating and discussing all the biggest talking points from the action of the weekend, as well as the greater football world.

It comes after a fascinating weekend of top-flight action, including Mohamed Salah‘s row with Jurgen Klopp, Arsenal‘s 3-2 win in the North London Derby, and another under-whelming performance from Manchester United to draw 1-1 with Burnley.

However fans have been dealt a blow after Ferdinand was forced to postpone for another week after his co-host revealed he ‘hasn’t been feeling too well.’

‘Yes people, just to let you know Vibe With Five has been postponed this week as Rio hasn’t been feeling too well,’ Beya wrote on X, formerly Twitter

Ferdinand’s illness casts his Champions League inclusion in doubt for TNT Sport after he was absent over the weekend

‘We will be back on Monday for another episode of Vibe With Five. Please wish my guy Rio a good recovery.’

Ferdinand is a regular pundit on TNT Sports’ coverage for both the Premier League and the Champions League, however he was missing from the broadcaster’s showings at the weekend.

As such, his appearance for TNT’s Champions League coverage later this week is left in doubt, with two huge semi-finals on offer between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, and PSG and Borussia Dortmund.

Earlier last week he had offered a damning indictment on Chelsea’s defending in their clash with Arsenal last week.

The Blues suffered a 5-0 thumping at the hands of their London rivals, with Ferdinand claiming the game looked more like ‘men against boys’.

Ferdinand told TNT Sports: ‘They [Chelsea] were second best and this was men against boys.

‘Yes, Chelsea had a young team, but it doesn’t always play out that way, as sometimes young players come out with a bit of fearlessness.

‘They’ve been good in big games in recent weeks, but today I thought they were way off it. No Palmer. They were men against boys and got absolutely destroyed today.’
