“Very difficult, but still on” – Fabrizio Romano on Bayern’s pursuit of Woltemade

The transfer expert believes Bayern haven’t given up on the 23-year-old just yet.

Bayern Munich’s efforts to sign Nick Woltemade “is still on, very difficult, but still on,” according to Fabrizio Romano.

Bayern are not giving up on the Stuttgart talent who has made it clear that he wants to complete the move to Bavaria this summer.

At the same time, Romano is aware that Bayern are also talking to Chelsea and the agents of Christopher Nkunku.

The Bavarian club’s agreement with Nkunku from January is still valid. Chelsea, as of today, are insisting on a permanent deal. 

The London club are eager to push through sales in order to gather funds which can be put towards RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons.
