VfB Stuttgart interested in former Liverpool talent – Sky Germany

Could the former Liverpool talent join VfB when the winter transfer window opens?

According to Sky Germany, reports have emerged that VfB Stuttgart are among those interested in signing Fábio Carvalho. 

The Baden-Württemberg side said to be closely monitoring the situation surrounding the Portuguese player from FC Brentford. 

In addition to VfB Stuttgart, there is also big admirers from other sides in Europe who consider the 23-year-old very talented. 

A pair of Ligue 1 clubs in the form of Racing Strasbourg and Olympique Lyon are also said to have expressed interest.

Carvalho is tied to the Bees until 2029, however, he doesn’t seem to feature in coach Keith Andrews’ plans as things stand. 

In Brentford’s seven competitive matches so far, the attacker has played just 276 minutes but has managed to score twice. 

Carvalho himself has already featured in the Bundesliga already – he made 9 appearances for RB Leipzig on loan in 2023.
