VfB Stuttgart have shown concrete interest in Arnaud Kalimuendo, according to Sky Germany’s latest update this evening.

The center forward is on the Swabian club’s shortlist and have reportedly already held initial talks with Kalimuendo’s agent.

The Frenchman only moved from Stade Rennes to Nottingham Forest in August for €30million euros; his contract runs until 2030.

Kalimuendo plays virtually no significant role at Forest with 66 Premier League appearances, but has yet to score a single goal.

The door for a transfer could therefore be open. Kalimuendo previously showed his qualities when he netted 18 goals in 34 games for Rennes.

Another name on Stuttgart’s striker list is Jeremy Arévalo from Spanish second-division club Racing Santander.
