Reports are growing that Guglielmo Vicario could be heading back to Italy for Inter, as his three years at Tottenham Hotspur could be coming to an end.

The Italy international made the move to Spurs from Empoli at a cost of €18.5m in the summer of 2023.

He went on to help them win the Europa League trophy last season, but their Premier League form has been very inconsistent.

Inter are looking to the future, as Yann Sommer is getting older and they want a suitable replacement who already has some international experience.

After contacting Aston Villa for Emiliano Martinez, the Nerazzurri’s top choice remains Vicario.

According to Calciomercato.com, the 29-year-old is totally open to a return to Serie A and would welcome a formal proposal from Inter in the summer.
