Leon Bailey arrives for Roma
Leon Bailey has been greeted by enthusiastic Roma fans as he arrived to complete his transfer from Aston Villa.
Multiple sources confirm this is a loan for €2-3m with option to buy at the end of the season for a further €22m.
He was meant to fly in last night, but decided to delay his arrival until this afternoon.
Fans gathered at Ciampino Airport to cheer on the Jamaica international as he signed autographs and posed for pictures.
‘Forza Roma!’ he shouted, having already learned how to make the local supporters happy.
The 28-year-old will now undergo his various medical tests with both the club and the authorities before he can put pen to paper on the new contract.
