Roma head coach Claudio Ranieri and star player Paulo Dybala took time away from their pre-season preparations to pay their respects to the late former Liverpool forward Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva ahead of a pre-season friendly between the Giallorossi and Everton.

Roma are currently on Merseyside for a pre-season friendly against Premier League side Everton, kicking off on Saturday afternoon. Both teams are under the same Friedkin ownership.

Ahead of their friendly at Hill Dickinson Stadium, which will be the first time that the new stadium has hosted a full-capacity crowd, Roma representatives made the short trip over to Anfield to pay their respects to former Liverpool forward Diogo Jota.
