Gennaro Gattuso has landed in Rome, where he will be unveiled as the new Italy coach tomorrow.

New Italy boss Gattuso has just returned to the Peninsula to begin his tenure as the Azzurri’s head coach.

Gattuso was officially appointed last week, after Luciano Spalletti’s dismissal.

Gattuso arrives to begin Italy tenure

Gattuso will be unveiled as the new Italy coach at a press conference on Thursday, June 19, at 11:00 CET (10:00 BST).

Multiple sources claim that ex-Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci will be part of his staff.

Gattuso will make his debut as Italy’s head coach on September 5, 2025, in a World Cup qualifying match against Estonia.
