Video: Hojlund arrives for medical after agreeing Napoli-Manchester United move with €44, obligation

Rasmus Hojlund has arrived in Italy and is undergoing a medical on Sunday ahead of his transfer from Manchester United to Napoli. 

According to reports earlier this weekend, Hojlund will join the Partenopei on a season long loan deal at a cost of €6m. There will also be an obligation to buy clause, which will become active in the event that Napoli qualify for the Champions League. If that is the case, they will be obliged to pay a further €44m to make the move permanent. 

Manchester United will retain a slight 5% sell-on clause, Football Italia understands. Napoli will also include a €90m release clause in the Denmark international’s contract. 

Hojlund arrived in Italy on Friday night, and is currently in Rome to have his medical before joining Napoli. 

This is a return to Serie A for the 22-year-old, who left Atalanta to join Manchester United in a record-breaking deal two years ago.
