The Giallorossi were trailing to the Alessio Romagnoli header at the Stadio Olimpico when the Argentina international pounced on a loose ball from outside the penalty area to equalise.

He swung the left boot at it first time with power and precision, leaving Christos Mandas rooted to the spot as it bounced off the underside of the crossbar.

Thanks to goal-line technology, referee Simone Sozza was able to quickly confirm the ball had completely crossed over and spark the Roma celebrations.
