Football Italia expert Alfredo Pedullà responds to recent criticism of Kenan Yildiz and the new Juventus contract offer, noting the club has to build the team around his talent.
There are plenty of issues that need to be discussed, including Italy’s World Cup qualifying campaign, and the concern at Napoli over the injury to crucial midfielder Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa.

The main focus for this video is on Kenan Yildiz, who is in the middle of some tough negotiations with Juventus over a new contract to lock him down in Turin.
Some might complain that the wage demands are excessive, but that is for a start too harsh on this young player, and more importantly it’s too late to change strategy all over again.
When Juve handed him the Number 10 jersey, that was a message he would be the centre of the team, and they cannot swerve away from that already, or it confirms this is a club with no clear vision.
