In a rather short and sweet press conference, Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany underlined their intentions for their title-deciding clash with RB Leipzig tomorrow.

“We want to win tomorrow and be champions. Tomorrow is a final for us. Hopefully we do it. We’re preparing as normal for Leipzig,” the Belgian explained.

Kompany went on to provide a personnel update in which he tipped a possible return for Manuel Neuer amongst a few absentees who won’t feature in Saxony.

“Manu [Neuer] has had a good week of training. We’ll sit down together this afternoon and then decide what’s best for him and the team. It doesn’t change anything in attack that Harry [Kane] (suspension), Jamal [Musiala] and others are out [injured],” he added.

The Bayern gaffer also expects a difficult afternoon for his side even if they are on the cusp of claiming the Meisterschale, feeling Leipzig won’t give an inch all game.

“Teams make radical decisions against Bayern. They either pour forward or focus on defence. I think we’ll get the best version of Leipzig as an opponent. It’ll be tough. We need to prepare for the game, not for a party,” he concluded.
