Christian Pulisic continued his fine form for AC Milan on Saturday with an incredible strike against Lecce at the San Siro.

The USA star opened the scoring during Saturday’s Serie A matchup in the sixth minute.

Teammate Samuel Chukwueze dribbled down the right wing to start the play. After weaving through defenders and making his way to the box, Chuwueze played a diagonal pass to Pulisic, who was waiting on top of the penalty area.

Pulisic received the ball with his left foot and cut in with his right before hitting the ball with his weaker southpaw.

With much pace, the ball soared over the Lecce defense before dipping past goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone.

The goal came in Pulisic’s 25th start in his first season with the Italian side. Before making his way to Milan, the Hershey, Pennsylvania native recorded 36 goals between Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.

His impact was immediate, as Pulisic now has nine goals and six assists for the club. Milan have won their last five games after a 1-1 draw with Atalanta on February 25.

They sit second in the league table with 71 points, a sizeable lead over third-placed Juventus’ 59. However, league leader and local rivals Inter have a comfortable 79 points on top of the ranks.

His fine form for the club comes after he helped his national team win the CONCACAF Nations Cup title against Mexico on March 24. Pulisic captained the USA and played a huge role in a 2-0 win over Mexico.

Pulisic and his team are also gearing up for the Copa America tournament, which will happen Stateside this summer. The Americans are favored to emerge from Group C, where they will face Uruguay, Panama, and Bolivia.
