After fielding the same starting lineup for the second consecutive time against Olympiacos on Wednesday, Bayer Leverkusen coach Kasper Hjulmand hinted at possible rotation against Union Berlin this weekend.
At a press conference on Friday, Hjulmand once again discussed the possibility of making changes, but didn’t want to give too much away.
“We have an idea, but we also still have a training session. After that, we’ll make a plan,” the Danish coach said.
One player who could be rotated into the side is Loïc Badé, who has spent the last two games on the bench.
Hjulmand said the French centre-back is handling the situation in a “top professional” manner.
Despite not playing a single minute against Olympiacos, he “gave so much energy – before the game and after the game in the dressing room,” Hjulmand said.
“He is ready to play, and he will play again,” the coach added.
