The 2024 summer transfer window is now shut across all major European leagues and clubs will be unable to sign new players until January.
This summer saw spending dip across the board, with Premier League and Saudi Pro League sides slightly holding back after splashing ludicrous sums in 2023.
For the first time in a number of years, there were no €100 million-plus transfers, with the most expensive deal seeing Julian Alvarez join Atletico Madrid from Man City for €75m.
The 2024 January transfer window was also a tame affair, with Vitor Roque’s €40m move to Barcelona the most expensive deal in world football.

However, January 2025 promises to be an intriguing transfer window and multiple high-profile deals are likely to go through.
