Endrick is the generational Palmeiras talent on everyone’s lips, but his younger compatriot Estevao could be the next Brazilian to seal a huge move to Europe.

The teenager is regarded as one of the very best talents in world football and he is expected to sign for one of the best clubs when he turns 18.

He has already been nicknamed ‘Messinho’ – in relation to Argentina superstar Lionel Messi – and Estevao is the next big talent to emerge from Brazil.

What position does Estevao play?

Estevao’s main position is as a right winger. He is also able to play as an attacking midfielder, although he is best when allowed to cut inside onto his stronger left foot.

How good is Estevao?

Estevao is yet to be handed consistent senior minutes at Palmeiras, but he scored on his first ever start in the Copa Libertadores in April 2024 and his start to life in senior football has already been impressive.

The Brazilian is a master with the ball at his feet, with his dribbling and close control both exceptional for someone so young.

At the U17 World Cup in 2023, Estevao scored three goals and provided three assists in five games as Brazil reached the quarter-final stage, while he helped Palmieras win four youth tournaments in 2022, including the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-17.

Estevao scored a hat-trick during a 3-0 win over Sao Paulo in the final, truly announcing himself as the next big Brazilian talent.

Estevao incredibly signed his first sponsorship with Nike at the age of 10, becoming the youngest-ever Brazilian player to achieve this feat – bettering both Neymar and Rodrygo.

He is a world-class player in waiting and is expected to become the latest wonderkid to leave Brazil for an eye-watering fee.

What clubs are interested in Estevao?

Almost every elite European club is interested in signing Estevao. The Brazilian wonderkid is wanted by the likes of Barcelona, Paris-Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.

A move to Camp Nou has previously been reported as Estevao’s preferred option, although Premier League interest could potentially sway him.
