Juventus defender Gleison Bremer was forced to be substituted during the first half of a Champions League match against Galatasaray due to a suspected muscle injury.

As reported by Gazzetta, the Brazilian repeatedly touched his right thigh before being forced to be subbed off.

Bremer even left the field for a few minutes to get his thigh massaged by doctors, but Juventus were one goal down, so he refused to leave the field.

Teun Koopmeiners, however, scored twice in a few minutes, and Bremer surrendered just after the Dutchman’s second goal.

This evening’s match between Galatasaray and Juventus is the first leg of the Champions League knockout play-off. The decider will be played in Turin next week.
