Arsenal have been in talks for both Sporting star Gyokeres and Leipzig talent Sesko, but it is likely that they will only be able to sign one of them.

According to Romano, the cost of Gyokeres’ transfer fee will be decisive in deciding whether Arsenal go for the Swede or turn to the Slovenian.

Gyokeres is currently embroiled in a transfer war with Sporting, who it is claimed broke a promise to sell him for less than €70m.

What did Romano say?

“Arsenal are talking with Benjamin Sesko. Arsenal are talking with the agent of Benjamin Sesko. Arsenal are talking with RB Leipzig. Direct club to club contact,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.

“But there is still no done deal with the club and the agent. So the situation is still open.

“Gyokeres has given priority to Arsenal and is waiting to see what happens with Arsenal before looking at other clubs (like Saudi teams and Man Utd).

“The price of Gyokeres will be crucial to determining whether Arsenal go for Gyokeres or Sesko.

“Let’s see how the war between the agents of Gyokeres and Sporting will go. The agents are demanding an exit package of around €65 million, while Sporting want more at around €80m.”

Gyokeres, who is also wanted by Man Utd, Saudi Pro League teams and Juventus, is the hottest striking property around right now after having an incredible season, scoring 54 goals in 52 games in all competitions, and leading Sporting to another league title.

This follows on from his brilliant form from last season for Sporting where he scored 43 goals in all competitions for his club.

As for Sesko, he will definitely leave Leipzig this summer.
