Florian Wirtz’s parents can look forward to a significant financial windfall after managing their son’s move to Liverpool without involving an agent.

Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz has reportedly agreed to a five-year deal with Liverpool worth between €20 and €22 million per year, including bonuses.

His parents, Hans and Karin, who also act as his agents, stand to benefit significantly from the biggest deal in Bundesliga history after managing the negotiations themselves without involving an external advisor who would have taken a commission.

According to Sport Bild, Wirtz’s parents will receive the standard 10 percent agent commission on his salary, amounting to at least €10 million, which Liverpool will pay over the next five years.

Wirtz’s parents have provided invaluable support throughout the 22-year-old’s young career.

When he was a youth player at 1. FC Köln, his mother Karin regularly drove him to training, attended training sessions and accompanied him to international tournaments.

Meanwhile, his father has been in charge of contract talks with clubs that were already interested in Wirtz as a youth prospect.

And to this day, his parents attend almost every game he plays.
