VfL Wolfsburg have apparently beaten Eintracht Frankfurt to the signing of Konstantinos Koulierakis from PAOK FC.

After Eintracht Frankfurt sold Willian Pacho to Paris Saint-Germain, it was reported that the club had identified PAOK FC’s Konstantinos Koulierakis as their desired replacement.

However, it now appears that the 20-year-old centre-back is heading to Wolfsburg instead.

According to Kicker, Die Wölfe have hijacked Frankfurt’s move for Koulierakis and are now close to finalizing a deal to sign the defender.

Wolfsburg are said to have made an offer of €15 million including bonuses and have presented the player with an attractive sporting plan.

The Greece international has featured a total of 72 times for PAOK, racking up nine goals and four assists.
