French U21 international Sael Kumbedi has joined Wolfsburg on loan.
VfL Wolfsburg have signed 20-year-old right-back Sael Kumbedi from Olympique Lyon.
The French international moves to the Volkswagen Arena on a season-long loan deal.
“We were specifically looking for a young, dynamic right-back with experience and development potential,” said Wolfsburg sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz.
“Sael fits into our team brilliantly, also with his mentality. We’re very pleased that he’ll be wearing the VfL shirt going forward.”
Kumbedi has made 62 appearances for Lyon.
