Germany’s popular tabloid senses Bayern’s push for Woltemade is on the brink of a total collapse.
Nick Woltemade’s proposed move to Bayern Munich is almost certainly off this summer, so Sport BILD believes.
After yesterday’s video call with VfB Stuttgart, Bayern bosses no longer believe the deal will go through during this transfer window.
Jan-Christian Dreesen spoke the most during the meeting and tried to convince Stuttgart officials to accept the offer.
Dreesen suggested Bayern would pay €55million and Woltemade’s camp would forgo some of their payments – making the fee reach around €60million.
In the end, Stuttgart stood firm and rejected the offer before going on to demand a sum over €75million.
Bayern therefore withdrew from the negotiations and the deal is now on the verge of collapsing all together, the tabloid reports.
