A report in Wednesday’s edition of Sport Bild suggests that Valencia are interested in Mainz goalkeeper Robin Zentner.
Valencia are looking for a replacement for Giorgi Mamardashvili, who is set to join Liverpool next summer.
And it seems that they have turned their attention to the German Bundesliga in search of a suitable candidate.
That’s according to Sport Bild, who claims that Mainz goalkeeper Robin Zentner is at the top of their list.
Zentner has been with Mainz since 2006 and, apart from a two-year loan spell at Holstein Kiel, has only played for the Zerofivers.
The 30-year-old’s contract is due to expire next summer and talks have reportedly already taken place over a possible extension.
Valencia are currently at the bottom of the Spanish La Liga table.
