Zinedine Zidane rolled back the years with an impressive display in the match between Real Madrid Legends and Porto Legends.

The annual charity match took place at the Bernabeu with proceeds set to go towards the fight against ALS and sustainability of Real Madrid Foundation’s projects.

Real Madrid star-studded team included the the likes of Zidane, Raul, Roberto Carlos and Luis Figo and Steve McManaman. 

But Porto came out on top thanks to a close-range finish by former Slovakia international Marek Cech after eight minutes. 

Despite the defeat, it was Zidane who caught the fans’ attention with some silky moves throughout the match.

The 51-year-old showed he hasn’t lost his superb close control and tricks which had some supporters off their seats during his playing career. 

The World Cup winner with France joined the Spanish giants from Juventus in 2001 and held a starring role at the club for the remaining five years of his playing career.

During his time at Real he scored 49 goals in 230 appearances, winning the Champions League in 2002 and the LaLiga title a year later. 

After an illustrious playing career, his managerial career has been successful since he took the reins at the Bernabeu in 2016.

Across two stints at Real, he won three Champions Leagues and two LaLiga titles before departing in 2021.

Zidane still remains a sought-after talent – with Man United reportedly interested in his services.
