Official: Borussia Dortmund confirm defender ruled out of Milan clash in Champions League

Borussia Dortmund confirm Niklas Süle is sick, so he won’t be available against Milan on Tuesday.

The Rossoneri host Borussia Dortmund at the Stadio Meazza tomorrow in a key Champions League Group F fixture.

The Rossoneri currently sit third, two points below the Germans, who lead the Group of Death, including PSG and Newcastle.

The Germans are preparing for their trip to Milan but will be without 28-year-old defender Süle who has a fever and won’t be available against the Rossoneri.

Süle’s omission from the squad was confirmed by Borussia Dortmund on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday morning.

The Germany international has made 13 appearances across all competitions this season.

Milan were held to a 0-0 draw by the Germans in the first-leg game on October 4 and won their first Champions League game this season on November 7, beating PSG 2-1 at San Siro.

The Serie A giants secured a 1-0 victory against Fiorentina in Serie A on Saturday, winning for the first time in five league games, while Borussia comfortably beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-2 last weekend.
