Manchester United are eyeing a shock approach to sign Fiorentina striker Moise Kean during the summer transfer window, according to Foot Mercato.
The Red Devils are preparing for a busy summer transfer window. They are expected to make multiple signings to please manager Ruben Amorim.
A marquee striker could be among the priorities and reports in France claim that the club are monitoring Kean ahead of a potential summer move.
Kean had a forgettable spell in the Premier League with the Toffees in the past. He netted just four goals from 38 appearances in all competitions.
The striker also struggled during his time at Juventus but he has transformed his fortunes at Fiorentina, scoring 23 goals in all competitions this term.
Kean has a release clause worth £42.5 million in his contract and it is claimed that United have added him to their shortlist of targets.
It remains to be seen whether there is any truth to the story. Kean was a huge flop at Everton but he could get a chance to redeem himself.
