Milan fans continued their angry protest during the final home game of the season, first sending a clear message in the stands, then walking out: ‘Go home.’

You can see how the match with Monza unfolds on the Liveblog.

The whole day was dedicated to taking a stand against the club owners, starting with anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000 fans gathering outside the headquarters with huge banners to call for the entire directorial team to step down.

They then marched towards San Siro continuing to aim insulting chants, along with others calling for the return of icon Paolo Maldini, took their seats in the stadium, but were not going to remain for long.

After organising themselves in the stands to spell out a message, ‘Go Home’ written in English, the ultras all walked out at the 20th minute in protest.

First, they all lit up their phones to make the message stand out even more, then walked away to the applause of the remaining crowd.

This was part of the plan sparked by the Curva Sud statement midweek, which warned they would ‘leave you alone with your shame’ in this last game of the season.

They then continued the protest outside the stadium.

This team won the Supercoppa Italiana in January, but lost the Coppa Italia Final to Bologna and failed to qualify for any European competition.

They also risk sliding so far down the Serie A table that they risk having to start the 2025-26 Coppa Italia from the preliminary rounds in August.
