Each of the previous 11 meetings Bayern and Man United have come in this competition. And the Bundesliga outfit have never lost at home to the Red Devils before.
Man United have only lost more UEFA Champions League games against Barcelona with five losses than they have against Bayern München as four.
In the current format of the UCL, since 2003-04, Bayern have progressed from the group stages to the knockout matches in all 19 appearances in the competition and look strong contenders to win Group A this season.

He featured heavily in the Champions League campaigns for Tottenham, scoring a total of 21 goals between 2016 and 2023.
The English captain has a tonne of experience against Man United and that should suit him to scoring against them once more this week in the UCL for the first time.
