According to Bild, Victor Boniface wasn’t in training for Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday amid reports he suffered an injury on international duty with Nigeria.

Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface missed training on Thursday, Bild reports.
According to Nigerian media, the 23-year-old injured his thigh during the international break and could miss a number of weeks.
When contacted by Bild, the German champions didn’t want to clarify the situation on Thursday.
Boniface also picked up an injury on international duty in January. He underwent surgery on an adductor muscle and was sidelined until April.
Patrik Schick will be ready to step in up front for Leverkusen against Heidenheim on Saturday if the Nigerian international is ruled out.
