Chelsea defender Levi Colwill is set to miss the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City with a toe injury.
The Blues graduate has missed the last six games with the problem and he has not recovered yet from the setback.
The 21-year-old returned to light training few weeks ago, but the weekend’s game will come too soon for him.
Chelsea have shown improvement with their attacking displays and they will be aiming to stun the Cityzens.
The Blues managed to play out draws in the league meetings between the clubs where they scored five times.
Hence, they should not be scared of the opposition and it remains to be seen whether they can sort out defensively.
This has been the club’s Achilles heel this campaign. They have tended to concede chances from defensive errors.
Pochettino will be hoping that his team can avoid such situations on Saturday as they aim to make the final.
Should the Blues beat the Cityzens, they will face either Coventry City or Manchester United for the FA Cup next month.
