Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr team-mates have appeared in a new video wearing traditional Saudi dress and wielding swords.

Ronaldo, 38, only made the switch to Saudi Arabia in December last year but has already settled into life in the Middle East with ease.

The forward has seven goals from his opening five matches of the Saudi Pro League season and won the Golden Boot as his side clinched the Arab Club Champions Cup.

And, as well as on the pitch, the global superstar has settled into life in Saudi off the pitch – which he demonstrated with his brief cameo in the video.

The Portuguese superstar, along with team-mates such as Sadio Mane and Talisca, appeared in traditional Saudi dress as he danced along at the end of the video.

In the video, Ronaldo and team-mates such as Sadio Mane (R) appear in traditional Saudi dress ahead of Saudi National Day on September 23rd

The clip, posted onto the Al-Nassr social media account, showcases three children making their way throughout the club stadium and spotting a number of stars engaging in traditional activities.

At the end of the video, Ronaldo appears – alongside Mane – in a black bisht and a white thobe, while the ex-Liverpool star wore a golden looking bisht with a white thobe.

The likes of Marcelo Brozovic, Otavio, Talisca and Alex Telles also featured in the vide.

The caption of the video, on Twitter, was: ‘All together. For one flag. We Dream, and Achieve’ with a number of emojis following it.

With Saudi National Day on Saturday, it’s likely that the video is linked to the celebrations that will be ongoing over the weekend.

Al-Nassr were one of the few teams not to be in action on Thursday night, as part of a busy schedule of Saudi Pro League fixtures.

On the night, N’Golo Kante opened his Al-Ittihad goalscoring account in emphatic fashion after scoring a long-range screamer in their 2-1 league win on Thursday night.

The French midfielder, who secured a free move to the Saudi side in June, the all-important winner for his side against Al Fateh FC.

Kante, 32, collected the ball on the edge of the area, just before half-time, before unleashing an effort at goal which cannoned off the crossbar and flew into the net.

Elsewhere in the league’s action, Neymar and Al-Hilal were held to a 1-1 draw with Damac FC.

The former Barcelona and PSG star was unable to make the difference for his side following goals from Nicolae Stanciu and Malcom.

In perhaps the most thrilling match of the night, former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum scored a brace during Al-Ettifaq’s 4-3 victory over Al Taee.
