Arsenal fans now fear Rice has joined the long list of Gunners players injured.

Following his substitution, the ex-West Ham captain reappeared on the bench with a bandage around his calf, as per Sky Sports.

Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard also missed the clash against fierce rivals Tottenham due to injury, too.

Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber are also sidelined.
