Erling Haaland broke the Fantasy Premier League record for most captained player in history on Saturday afternoon against Nottingham Forest.
And he did not disappoint the 7,961,047 FPL managers who gave him the armband – scoring after 14 minutes.
Manchester City were in cruise control against Forest after taking an early two-goal lead.
Phil Foden struck a beauty to open the scoring before Haaland planted a header past Matt Turner following a 46-pass move.
It is no surprise to see so many FPL players captain Haaland after a fine start to the season.
The Norway international netted his eight of the season in the Premier League against Forest on Saturday.
And after a record-breaking campaign last year in the top tier, all eyes were on Haaland to see if he could repeat his feat.
The 23-year-old broke the record for most goals scored in a single Premier League campaign last season when he netted 36 times.
Despite costing £14.1m, the most in FPL, an incredible 92.5 per cent of players have picked Haaland.
However, what it does mean is that when the striker does well, it is unlikely to help people out if everyone has him in their team.
But none of that will concern Haaland, who just loves scoring goals and is already on course to smash his own record.
With eight goals in six Premier League matches, if he plays every match at his current rate, he could reach 50 goals.
And that is despite some calls from fans saying he has had a slow start to the season.
Haaland has already scored 50 points this season in the FPL, not counting captain bonuses or his points against Forest.
It unsurprisingly sees him top of the total points scored, ahead of City teammate Julian Alvarez by 12 points.
Bryan Mbeumo is third on the list with 35, ahead of Odsonne Edouard and Mohamed Salah, both on 33.
