Former England manager Gareth Southgate is reportedly a potential candidate to replace one struggling Premier League manager.
Southgate resigned as England boss after the Three Lions’ crushing 2-1 defeat by Spain in July’s Euro 2024 final in Berlin.
He has since been linked with a number of jobs, most notably to take over from Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
And The Guardian claim he is also being considered by Crystal Palace with Oliver Glasner under mounting pressure.
Former Brighton boss Graham Potter and ex-West Ham manager David Moyes are also seen as options, according to the report.

Oliver Glasner is under mounting pressure after his side’s poor start to the campaign
Glasner maintains the immediate backing of senior members of Crystal Palace’s hierarchy but there is increasing alarm at the team’s poor start to the season.
The south London side are one of only four clubs in the Premier League without a victory in their opening eight games – their latest setback arriving in Monday’s defeat to Nottingham Forest, a result that leaves them in the relegation zone.
The defeat means Palace have equalled their worst start to a Premier League season and have failed to win any of their first eight games of a top-flight campaign for the first time since 1992-93.
Sources are indicating that while the club want to continue supporting Glasner, if the team remain without a Premier League win heading into the November international break the Eagles board may review their position regarding the Austrian.
Palace chairman Steve Parish, who will ultimately decide Glasner’s future, has shown in the past that he is willing to sack managers if the club are in genuine danger of relegation.
There was much optimism heading into the season after Glasner led Palace to an encouraging seven game unbeaten run – six of which were victories – at the end of the previous campaign.
And while last season’s impressive sequence means Glasner has credit in the bank, Palace will consider their options if their struggles continue.
There is an acknowledgement that the departure of Michael Olise to Bayern Munich in the summer arrived as a key blow to the team.
Nevertheless, Glasner will be expected to make the necessary improvements to revive the team’s fortunes following their disappointing start.
It is understood Glasner has explored a tactical switch in hope of turning results around.
The Austrian has relied on a a five-man defensive system, but it is understood the coach has looked at the possibility of deploying a back-four in recent days with a view to unlocking the team’s offensive game.
