Gary Neville explains why Man City’s three-goal Feyenoord collapse was WORSE than embarrassing Tottenham defeat for Pep Guardiola’s men

Gary Neville believes Man City‘s 3-3 draw with Feyenoord in midweek will have had a more damaging impact on the team than last weekend’s 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Tottenham.   

Speaking on Sky Sports on Sunday, Neville said: ‘I think the game in midweek in some ways was worse than the one last weekend in the sense that you’re three-nil up and might think you’re back on track. 

‘And all of a sudden, the roof caves in on you. I think coming off the back of that one, it’s a tough one for them. 

‘The problem is this is one of the toughest places for any team to come, let alone City. But there will be something in the back of their minds.  

‘They’re serial winners, all of them. The problem is the reality might hit home when they get out on the pitch and they hear this crowd.’
