Here we go! Man Utd ‘make Osimhen offer’ as ‘DEAL CLOSE’

Manchester United have made a verbal offer to Victor Osimhen, who is on the verge of making a career-defining move, according to a report.

The Nigerian sharpshooter continues to impress at Galatasaray. Though he hasn’t scored in two games, Osimhen’s record for the season is still eye-catching.

The 26-year-old has netted a whopping 17 goals in 23 games, while also providing five assists. He remains one of Europe’s most sought-after striker commodities and will be on the move in the summer.

Galatasaray have had a €65 million offer to make his move permanent rebuffed by parent club Napoli and have resigned themselves to losing their superstar.

Osimhen has no shortage of suitors and reliable Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu claims that both Man Utd and PSG have made verbal contract offers for the striker ahead of the summer.

Sabuncuoglu asserts that both clubs would be prepared to meet his €75m release clause, although he did not disclose how Osimhen responded to the contract proposals. What he did reveal, though, is that the player is on the verge of signing an important deal.

Osimhen makes big career choice

In comments relayed by Haber Sari Kirmizi, Sabuncuoglu is quoted as saying: “Victor Osimhen is about to sign a deal with a world-famous management company,” the journalist said.

“In fact, a Real Madrid player is mediating these talks. What does this mean? The possibility of signing with Galatasaray in June has decreased a lot. PSG and Man Utd have made verbal offers to the player regarding salary and contract period,” he added.

“Because both clubs have agreed to pay Napoli‘s release clause. It is very difficult for Galatasaray to compete with these two clubs. He is most likely leaving at the end of the season.”

It remains to be seen if anything will come of these claims. Man Utd are known to be struggling for cash, so it is doubtful that they will actually be in a position to move for Osimhen in the summer.
